ASR Runner of the month April 2018

Once again, so many fantastic achievements by our runners in April.
Many people taking part in marathons in Paris, Manchester and Blackpool.
Many doing their 1st marathon- some crazy people even doing 2 marathons in one month. But this month’s award goes to someone who was doing their 2nd Paris marathon.

We have been constantly impressed with the training runs they have done in preparation for Paris.
Running is very much a family affair, and it is fair to say that without the steadfast support of her husband, none of this would have been possible........

This is someone who has been running with us for many years now, and who probably wonders why they haven’t won it before now.......
