REMINDERS

Reminder No.1 - We now have a 5k option on Thursday, as well as Monday. If 5k is your thing, please come along and join us!

Reminder No.2 - All runners should have set off from the Focal Centre by 7.00pm. If you arrive after that time and still want to run, the onus is very much on you to know the route, and to find a buddy to run with.

Reminder No.3 - Tail runners are an extremely important part of our safety procedures. Therefore we ask that runners do not take detours or short-cuts etc, as the tail runners will not be aware that this has happened. And while we're at it, a very big THANK YOU goes out to those who volunteer to tail run.It's not a big ask - Have you done it yet?

Reminder No.4 - If you overtake the tail runners, please be sure to let them know if there is anyone else still behind them.And say HELLO and THANK YOU as you pass!

Reminder No.5 - We want everyone to enjoy their run. Please take account of your own level of fitness and health before deciding whether to run in the first place, or what distance to run, or what group to run with. We do ask that all runners can run at least 5k. If you are taking on one of the longer distances, consider whether you can cope with it.Conversely, if you are running the 5k consistently, why not surprise yourself by giving the 8k a go?!

Reminder No. 6 - Set-off times - Generally (notwithstanding injury / condition) could you please adhere to the recommended set-off times, which aids safety and eases conjestion along the route. The times are:

Pre-bronze 6.45pm (35 mins pluse 5K time)

Bronze 6.50pm (30 mins pluse 5K time)

Silver 6.55pm (25-30 mins 5k time)

Gold: 7pm - (sub 25min 5k time)
