Thursday evening change of venue

Starting from 14th November, initially until the New Year,  our Thursday evening sessions will now start from Hallgate Car Park, Astley.

The intention was that our Thursday sessions would be more trail rather than road based from Eaves Green and as  running sessions in the darker evenings  tend to be road based rather than trail based, it makes sense to move to better lit paths and car park.

We are also trialling a short 5-7k running course on Thursday evenings as we have had requests from a number of people who would like to step up their distance to 7k and beyond. Depending on its success , or not, we will alsp start a 7-10k short course in the New Year to support runners who want to run 10k more regularly.
