At  Chorley Runners, we sometimes get asked about why we use  England Athletics Runtogether and their app to book people into our run sessions.

Chorley Runners was one of the very first groups to use sign up as a test group to RunTogether in October 2016.

This gave us access to a free website and later on, the apps we use do that we can register everyone who runs with us, keep a log of who runs with us and access to their emergency information .  It also ensures that the groups  run leaders are insured for 3rd party liability.

For our runners , it gives you access to find out about other running groups in your area or in a new place if you are away on holiday or working and fancy a run in company.

With nearly 200,000 registered runners and more than 3000 groups in England alone , you are   in good company.
