This Beginners Programme starts on Saturday 3rd January 2026. Our Beginners Programme is suitable for women starting running for the first time as well as those returning after a long break. Over the course of the 12 week programme, we will gradually build up the time we spend running. In week 1, the longest chunk of solid running you will do is 60 seconds and by the end of the programme, you’ll run 5K! From that point, you’ll be in a great position to join our Steady Run. We meet at The Greyhound Pub's carpark on Saturday mornings at 7.30 am. You can park a car or bike in the carpark (at your own risk). There are no toilets or lockers available.
