Measured Mile training

Located by the boat house at Wycombe Rye is the start and finish of a measured mile.
It forms a great area and distance for individual and group training as it follows the shady dyke path up to the waterfall and then a straight flat route to the finish. Depending on individual training programmes and fitness, the group is split into socially distanced teams of 2 - 5 runners and given a target pace to keep to. This is a great workout for 10k - half marathon training which helps improve VO2 max and also gets you used to race pacing.
