RED Runners will be staging a "parkrun takeover" on Saturday 3rd March 2018 to mark the club's official launch as affiliated members of England Athletics.

Members of the club will be filling most of the volunteer roles at Hockley Woods parkrun as well as being on hand to let local runners know about the new club.  Those volunteering will act as marshalls, time-keepers, token managers and tail walkers/runners.  Other club members will be helping to cheer on the 200 or so participants in the 5k run and to provide information to anyone who would like to find out more about RED Runners.

RED Runners is a running club based in Rochford, Essex.  The club currently meets once a week, at 7.15pm on Thursday evenings, at a variety of locations in and around the Rochford area.  Runs are a mix of hill reps, speed work and longer runs.  Plans are in place to introduce extra midweek sessions from April 2018.  Details of all the club's runs can be found on the 'Runs' link on this website.
