"Whats relaxed about training for a half marathon?" You will indeed have to put the work in but you will be part of a training group that is aimed at supporting those who may be trying the half marathon distance for the first time, who think they may be too slow to join a running club or training group, or just want to complete and aren't bothered about time. We do ask that you already run 6 miles comfotably before joining us.
We will start start off at 10-12 minute mile/ 6.13km - 7.28km but we can aim to go slower if need be. If gaps form, we operate a loop back system where the front runners will loop back to theose behind so we can run as a group as much as possible. The motto on on all our runs is no one gets left behind!
