π° June Newsπ°
After a busy few months with marathons and our annual club race, June was slightly quieter. Despite it being holiday season, our fantastic Run Leaders continue to volunteer their time and offer a range of runs throughout the week. However, we are always on the search for more runners to become a Leader in Running Fitness and join our Run Leaders; if this is something you’d be interested in please speak with Sarah or reach out to one of the current Run Leaders.
Run Leader Andrew also released this years Big Half training plan which commenced on 9th June.
This month we have had an influx of new members joining which has been great to see! A special welcome to Suha, Jean, Deniz and David.
In parkrun news, Will continues his touring streak with Southend, Whistable, East Grinstead and Hadleigh. Yat adventured to Battersea, Hilly Fields and Spring Rock. Sam also enjoyed some parkrun tourism to Coventry, and Gemma and Alex tried Lullingstone for the first time and returned to Tonbridge. Other runners enjoyed staying local with Thames Path, Bexley and Charlton plus Christos tried Avery Hill for the first time.
