This is a trail running development session for newly experienced runners, those seeking variety of terrain and scenery different to the streets, or a new running challenge. Routes will be a maximum of 5k duration (with short stops if necessary, for those who require them). The main route will be around Harmer Green Woods in Welwyn, where we'll encounter a variety of terrain - woodland and farmland - on marked trails, and with some small inclines and descents. This will permit runners to gain experience with different features and obstacles typical of trail running, all whilst building and developing fitness and endurance, and enjoying the countryside.
