Where do i begin with Ossy Joggers 🤭

For people who don't know I moved from my home of 26 years in Bolton, to Accrington 4 years ago. Ever since I moved I wanted to find a group to socialise with as I felt lost in a new place. I'm sure people can relate. I also put on weight....relate? Haha!! So as a new years resolution I decided to do a C25K program. Then I found Ossy Joggers! I went on my own in the dark to Rhyddings Park and found Sally! Never ventured to Ossy before. Any who... the rest is history. And for the first time since University I have found somewhere were I belong. Its improved my confidence. Pushing my body to limits I never felt possible and made some lovely friends. I remember booking my first race and did it for charity. Sally convinced me to put it on Facebook and I had only known everyone 6 months and they gave me support on Just Giving! I was so grateful as I was sure I wasn't going to hit my target.

Now for the deep stuff, people know me as loud, outgoing, social and bubbly. But inside i'm such a negative person. Always putting myself down...putting it lightly. Recently I've seen a therapy coach that my work have employed to help raise awareness of mental health and how it shouldn't be a stigma. She has helped me so much!! So on one hand Ossy Joggers has helped my confidence, physical health and the endorphins that goes with it helps. But that's just half the battle. I'm in such a better place now. I also have a few races lined up this year and I have the Ossy Joggers to thank for that too with all the well thought out training programs. Thank You to Sally and the Run leaders!

Love to all my OJ's 💙💚
