Coach Kate Running offers both women's running groups and personal running coach services.
Personal running coach services are available for both male and female runners. We provide 1-2-1 run coaching sessions, full running form assessments, online coaching and custom training plan writing. All services are geared to help you acheive your individual running goals. Our social running groups for women operate in Bishop's Stortford, running from Thorley Sainsburys Centre, and have been established since 2018 . Our aim is to provide supportive, friendly groups, that are open to all, that encourage women to get out running, make new friends and have some fun.
We offer sessions for different ability levels. Our beginners courses are suitable for anyone completely new to the field of running and follow a 0-5km run/walk approach over 10 weeks. In contrast, our intermediate sessions are suitable for people who can already run 30 minutes or more and want to work on endurance over distance, speed and technique. We cover longer distance running, as well as speed and hill training in these sessions. All welcome! There is no such thing as too slow, not being fit enough, or indeed being too fast, as each session is planned and geared to cater for all abilities of runners present.
All sessions are run by myself, Kate Macfarlane - I am a UK Athletics qualified Coach in Running Fitness and Endurance Event Group Coach. I am consequently licensed to coach and lead all ability runners of any age, am fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained.
