Welcome to our information page for the Couch to 5k Group. Following the success of five previous Couch to 5k groups, we will be leading another group of beginner runners to follow the programme and complete a full 5k run in under 3 months. This block of 11 weeks will follow the Public Health England One You Couch to 5k programme, starting with a walking meet and greet and ending with a fully supported 5k challenge run. You will be expected to do one independent run and two group runs each week; however, if you can only make Thursdays or Sundays, we can support this too. There is a reason for the odd Saturday dates, so please just take note of them for now, and we'll explain more later. To complete the programme successfully, where possible BOOK the entire programme try to ATTEND every session. Towards the end of December, we will send you an email with further details.
