CAVC Cardiff Bay 10k - 2nd April 2017

Glorious sunshine greeted the 5 members (Deb Fry, Simon Judd, Sue Upfield, Steve Castle and Roz Castle) of SHR who ventured across the bridge into Wales for the CAVC Cardiff Bay 10k. 
The atmosphere was warm and friendly among the 6000 runners taking part. One of us even had the privilege of rubbing shoulders with the foremost Welsh 10k runner Dewi Griffiths at the race start. 
For most of us the event was part of a training programme working towards other future races. However, some good times were recorded and Deb achieved a PB.
I think we would all agree that it was an enjoyable event and we were all pleased with our efforts!
