Session Plan
Meet at Main entrance gates to Page Park in Staple Hill (or alternative location where indicated) for a 6:30pm start:
Focus: speed
2 April - Pyramids.
9 April - Meet and retreat.
16 April - Hills (at Pomphrey Hill playing fields).
23 April - Intervals 1 min on/off and 30 seconds on/off.
30 April - Fartlek (at King George V playing fields).
7 May - Oregon Circuits (with Bev - optionally bring mat or towel for some ground exercises).
14 May - Run & talk.
21 May - Timed loops 3-2-1
Our weekly sessions are suitable for all runners: beginners, experienced and anyone returning to running after a break or injury.
These sessions will help members build speed and endurance.
Each session starts off with a warm up and finishes with cool-down stretches.
To register for a session follow the link from the 'Our Runs' page through to our "Staple Hill Runners" Thursday 18:30 session, then tick "Choose Your Sessions".
Everyone must wear hi-vis clothing and/or a running light so as to be seen and avoid accidents during the dark evenings.
