Thanet Roadrunners AC

We are Thanet's friendliest running club.  We love running but also love socalising! 

We'd love you to run along with us and get the running bug!

Thanet Roadrunners AC was founded over 40 years ago and we STILL love running together!  We have a flood lit track and over 20 qualified run leaders and coaches.

Most of our runners joined us as non-runners, through our Couch to 5K programme and we just love to see people thrive and develop.   Most of us are just ordinary mortals, but we also have runners who have gone on to represent GB and currently represent England!

Come along and join us on one of our runs.  Our main running night is Monday, but we also run together on a Wednesday (hills), Thursday (floodlit track), Friday (chill out run) and if there are no inter-club competitions Sunday long run.  We NEVER leave anyone behind!

We are home to a huge variety of runners, not only in age but also by ability.

From beginners through to the more advance runners we make sure to incorporate all abilities in training sessions and events. Our athletes can utilise our varied coaching facilities as well as participate in the Kent leagues (road running and cross country) and the Kent Grand Prix series, track and field events. Be sure to take note of the Club Championship Races, you will get a club medal for completing them all!
