Welcome to Worlingham RoadRunnerz !

Our group was formed in March 2020 by England Athletics qualified coaches Annette Copeman-Lamoureux and Michelle Hewitt.  At the same time the world with struck by a global pandemic!  So.....we’d just formed our lovely little group and were all geared up to set a date for our first training session when all athletics meetings were postponed for the foreseeable future! Did we cancel our plans and wait? Of course not! We formed a Facebook and Whatsapp group and invited runners to join us virtually. We arranged weekly strength challenges and fun games to keep us all motivated and connected during a very difficult time in all of our lives.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming, fun and social group while at the same time delivering structured training sessions to get you fitter/faster/healthier/stronger, whatever your aim may be. Our sessions are open to anybody age 16 years upwards of any experience to running, we welcome all and treat everybody the same regardless of age, ability, gender, shape or size.

We train on a Tuesday and a Thursday evening 6.30-7.30pm and have successfully ran a Couch to 5K beginners course, Back to Running course, 5k Improver course and 10K Improver course. We now have a coaching team of 14 awesome run leaders which enables us to welcome lots of lovely runners to our group.

We have a road run and a field session for you to choose from on each training night, plus an indoor Strength & Conditioning session on a Thursday.  We also meet on Saturday mornings at Lowestoft Parkrun and have a gentle social run followed by coffee and chat afterwards on a Sunday.  To book a session with us, please join our private Facebook group Worlingham RoadRunnerz where the session links are posted.
