Welcome to our running group

A community running group in Staple Hill for all abilities (ages 16+).

We meet Thursdays, 6:30pm at the main entrance gates to Page Park, Staple Hill. Duration: 1 hour.

All sessions are free and led by a qualified coach and run leaders. 

What to expect:

Our sessions are designed to cater for mixed abilities from beginners to experienced runners and we are able to do this by doing shorter, interval type running. We believe in providing inclusive training opportunities so typically a session will take place in a designated area such as Hill House Park, Page Park, Pomphrey Hill, or a roads loop (in the winter) so that everyone can run together and not get left behind.  Intervals are short bursts of running (e.g. 1-5mins) with recoveries in between and are a great way to improve fitness but also suitable for those who are new to or returning to running.  In our sessions you can push as hard as you like or choose to run socially or steady, it doesn't matter as long as you enjoy it!

  1. Do not attend if you have symptoms of Covid or flu.
  2. During the dark evenings, you must wear hi-viz and/or a running light.
  3. Public toilets (with wheelchair access) are available in Page Park until 7:00 pm.
