Mettle Milers Improvers Groups

As with our Introduction to Running Group, our 8-week Improvers Group is based on a tried and tested plan, consisting of one leader led run session and two homework runs per week. After each leader led session you will be sent an email with the two homework runs plus some words of encouragement and advice!

The course builds distance steadily from a start point of 5k over the 8 weeks and the run leader will choose a variety of routes to ensure you're getting experience on both flat and hilly terrain. These sessions have also been tried and tested extensively by our leader Frances who has many years of leading experience.

Improvers is designed as a follow on from the Introduction to Running Group, or as a way for runners with a 30min+ 5k time to work on improving speed over the 8 weeks. It's a good way for runners coming back from injury to pick up where they left off, if they still have a level of fitness.

Payment for the course will be a one off charge upfront for the full 8 weeks. You will not be required to join as a member of Mettle Milers, you can sign up for membership once the Improvers course is complete.
