Longford Striders offers friendly and inclusive sessions each week for all abilities, using safe and scenic routes in and around Longford Park. The Sunday Social 5K welcomes every pace and includes a run/walk group using a 4:1 ratio, four minutes running followed by one minute walking. It’s ideal if you’re building fitness, returning after a break, or prefer a relaxed, supported approach.
Book onto a run by clicking on a session below. Select the date you’ll be joining us and add your details to book your place. The run/walk group, as well as the main group, will be organised at the start of the session.
All sessions are led by qualified England Athletics Run Leaders and Coaches, ensuring a safe, supportive and enjoyable experience. Please note there is no run/ walk group or Sunday Social 5k when we hold our monthly coached session, which focuses on developing running skills, technique and confidence.
