Longford Striders RunTogether Coventry

Longford Striders RunTogether Group Coventry is a friendly, community based running group that meets in Longford Park, Coventry. We welcome runners of all abilities and experience levels, creating a supportive environment where everyone can enjoy running and improve at their own pace. Whether you are already part of a club, thinking about joining one, or just starting out, we are here to help and support you, and you are always welcome to run with us.

Our main group run is the weekly Sunday Social 5K, bringing runners of all abilities together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We also host a monthly coached session to build skills and confidence, along with Couch to 5K courses throughout the year for those new to running. Every session is friendly, safe and inclusive. Whether you are taking your first steps, returning after a break, or working towards a new personal best, you will find a supportive group that makes running accessible to everyone.

All sessions are led by qualified England Athletics coaches and leaders who hold an Enhanced DBS check and have received safeguarding, first aid and additional training, including Essential First Aid in Sport and Active Leisure. Sessions are open to ages 12 and above, with parental consent required for under 18s. Please complete the consent form before attending your first session. Children aged 12–15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over during the session.
