Stuart Sahan

Lead run leader

Hi, I’m Stuart Sahan, Group Leader at Longford Striders. I’ve been running for over 11 years, covering everything from 5K races to full marathons, and I’m passionate about helping others discover the physical and mental benefits of running. Alongside leading Longford Striders, I run my own sports therapy clinic, Sports Therapy One, based at the CW Therapy Rooms in Kenilworth, where I provide injury rehabilitation and sports massage to clients across Kenilworth and Coventry. I also work as a sports therapist in rugby union. I hold a degree in Sports Therapy and qualifications as a Personal Trainer and Gym Coach, as well as Leadership and Coaching in Running Fitness (LiRF–CiRF) through England Athletics. I’m also an England Athletics Licensed VI Guide Runner, supporting visually impaired and blind runners to participate safely and confidently in the sport. I’m a graduate member of the Sports Therapy Association, hold an enhanced DBS through England Athletics, a Level 3 First Aid qualification, and am fully insured to coach athletes aged 12 and over. Running is an incredible way to improve health, fitness, confidence, and mental wellbeing, but for me, its real power lies in bringing people together from all walks of life, helping them work towards goals and build confidence week by week. As I like to say, miles tick away much nicer when you’re running in a group. So why not come along and join us?
