Bedfordshire Trail Runners is a friendly and inclusive community group focused exclusively on trail running. We are not a formal paid running club but a welcoming collective of runners at all levels who enjoy exploring natural trails together.
Our runs cover a variety of scenic off-road routes across Bedfordshire, prioritising access to woodland paths, hills, and open countryside.
Safety on trails is paramount, and all sessions are led by experienced, UK Athletics-certified leaders who ensure a supportive atmosphere with safe pacing and guidance.
Since we are a free community group, there are no membership fees or formal memberships, just bring your enthusiasm for running and respect for others. Group runs encourage camaraderie and connection, so please come ready to engage positively with fellow trail enthusiasts.
Please note that our runs operate under clear safety guidelines such as wearing trail-appropriate footwear, carrying hydration, and adhering to visibility rules during darker months. Dogs are not permitted during group runs to maintain safety and group cohesion.
Registration for runs is managed via the RunTogether online platform to track attendance and share emergency information.
Participation is at your own risk, and we encourage all runners to prepare adequately for trail conditions and terrain challenges.
